My work, in essence, is a series of cryptic stepping stones through a narrative of my life. In a way, each piece I make is a sort of self portrait, whether it depicts my literal self or an accumulation of personal symbolism, it is representational of me in that moment of my life. By using imagery from the natural world that I find compelling, I offer something familiar to the viewer as I use printmaking to express and explore in greater depth my emotional experiences with death, nostalgia, memory, dreams, and the sad beauty of life.
